FAQ: Do I need to create registry entries for my application to work?

If you aren't sure then the answer is "no".

Unless your application expects certain registry entries to exist or be set a certain way prior to the first run (and you should already know if that is the case), there is no need to create a [Registry] section.

Note: The registry entries pertaining to the uninstaller are created automatically.
